Curl Butter, Hold it Right There, or Holy Cream

Step 1: Cleanse with Curl Renaissance Shampoo
Apply to wet hair and gently massage from roots to ends. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.

Step 2: Hydrate with Unconditional Love Deep Conditioner
Section your curly crown and apply an adequate amount to cover the entire section. Apply from roots to ends, carefully finger-detangling each section. If needed, finish the detangling process with a wide tooth detangling brush, making sure to smooth down cuticles. Repeat and continue with all hair sections.

For fine and easily weighed-down hair: Rinse deep conditioner thoroughly and continue with leave-in conditioner and/or styling product.

Step 3: Seal with Moisture Lock Pomade (except if you're Type 2) - if so skip this step.
Apply with the praying hands method from roots to ends. Add a bit more to needy areas such as crown and ends.

Step 4: Style will vary based on preference of definition vs volume. Refer to your Curl ID for more details.

For Definition: Generously apply Hold it Right There Gel to sectioned, detangled hair from roots to ends with fingers, smoothing down cuticles and defining curls.

For Volume, Type 2: Use Holy Cream. Can be applied on wet and dry hair. For more volume and curl definition best used with a diffuser on medium setting.

For Volume, Type 4: Use Curl Butter. Depending on quantity used, this butter provides a light to medium hold.
