Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@inhairitance.ca. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that returns are not complimentary and a return of $10 will be deducted from your total refund or store credit.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. You can also let us know the item you would like to exchange and our support team can help coordinate it for you.


Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Our refund policy doesn't apply to purchases made in the salon. If you have purchased an item in the salon and want to return it, please visit our store.

Returns

It is our number one priority to assure that our clients are completely satisfied with their Inhairitance experience.

1. Opened products

We do not accept returns or exchanges for opened products and merchandise. Our products are for personal use and we won’t accept any opened items for the safety of our customers. Any product that is wearable like jewelry, scarves, and pillowcases are not available for exchange or refund.

2. Unopened products

We do not accept returns or exchanges for any opened products and merchandise. If we believe that your product has been damaged or if the order doesn't contain the products you ordered, please fill out the information about your order at the form here: https://inhairitance.ca/pages/submit-a-claim

3. Third Party- retailer and Promotions:

Any products purchased through a third-party retailer or wholesaler do not qualify for an exchange, return or repair.
All sale or promo items are FINAL SALE, no refunds or exchange will be accepted.

4. Damaged or wrong product:

If your product has been damaged during shipping or if the order doesn't contain the products you ordered, please fill out the information about your order at the form here: https://inhairitance.ca/pages/submit-a-claim. You can also contact support@inhairitance.ca, and we will file a claim on your behalf. This may take 5-10 business days to investigate with the carrier.

Please note that you must opt in to Inhairitance Shipping Protection Insurance at the time of check-out for any lost, damaged or stolen packages to be replaced to you. If you do not choose this protection at check-out, we are unable to provide you with a full replacement if your package is lost, damaged or stolen. and will only qualify for a refund.
